About
I studied Philosophy, German Studies and Biology in Freiburg and Basel and graduated with a master’s thesis on the late Heidegger at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg. In 2007, I submitted my doctoral thesis on gestures, language and the body in Heidegger with Prof. Ute Guzzoni as adviser and Prof. Hans-Helmuth Gander as co-adviser. Since then, I have been teaching at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität continuously.
My teaching experience includes courses on Heidegger, Hegel, Walter Benjamin, and Theodor W. Adorno. During winter semester 2010/11 and the following summer semester, I taught a course on Descartes. In winter semester 2011/12, a course on Hegel's notion of science is to follow.
I’m currently working on a project about the relationship between philosophy and the natural sciences based, among others, on Husserl and Aristotle—and on the question of how these disciplines are relevant to each other.
